The $25.7 billion pension fund committed up to $30 million to Hawkeye Scout Fund II, managed by Hawkeye Partners. The fund invests in emerging real estate managers.
Real estate consultant The Townsend Group assisted.
Separately, the pension fund invested $15 million each in a MKP Capital Management discretionary global macro hedge fund and a Southpoint Capital Advisors long/short value-oriented fund.
Diversifying assets consultant Albourne America assisted.
The pension fund also committed $10 million to Sentinel Capital Partners V, a lower middle-market buyout strategy.
Alternatives consultant StepStone Group assisted.
