Lincoln (Neb.) Police and Fire Pension Fund is searching for an investment consultant, according to an RFP posted on the city's website.
The $173 million pension fund previously issued an RFP in October for due diligence purposes, according to pension officer Paul Lutomski at the time. Current consultant Smith Hayes Advisers was invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at noon CDT on Aug. 14. The reason for the reissuing of the RFP and a timetable for a decision could not be learned by press time.
Phone calls to Mr. Lutomski were not returned by press time.
