Northern Trust reported $803 billion in assets under management in the second quarter, down 1% from the previous quarter but up 14% from the quarter ended June 30, 2012, according to an earnings statement issued Wednesday.
Corporate and institutional assets decreased 1% in the latest quarter to $600.5 billion, although those assets were up 14% from a year earlier.
Total corporate and institutional assets under custody were $4.54 trillion, down 1% from the first quarter and up 9% from the year before.
Consolidated second-quarter revenue was $1.02 billion, up 5.4% from the previous quarter and up 3% from 12 months earlier.
Corporate and institutional trust, investment and other servicing fees totaled $364.2 million, up 4.4% from the previous quarter and 8% higher than the previous year.
Consolidated net income was $191 million, 17% higher than the first quarter and up 6% from the prior year.
