Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System, Harrisburg, hired Delaware Investments to run about $100 million in active domestic large-cap growth equities, confirmed James Allen, secretary of the $1.7 billion pension fund.
The pension fund issued an RFP in May due to personnel changes at current manager UBS Global Asset Management, which rebid for the services.
Other finalists were Mar Vista Investment Partners and Sustainable Growth Advisers.
Investment consultant Dahab Associates assisted.
