Heidi Poon has joined private equity consulting firm TorreyCove Capital Partners as a vice president, confirmed Kiersten Pinard, TorreyCove associate and spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
It is a new position.
Ms. Poon will work with the TorreyCove's research team, identifying, analyzing and selecting private market investments.
Ms. Poon was an investment officer at the San Jose Retirement Services Department. City spokesman David Vossbrink could not be reached by press time.
