Matt LeBlanc is joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management's global real assets team as chief investment officer for OECD infrastructure equity, said Kristen Chambers, a J.P. Morgan spokeswoman.
Mr. LeBlanc replaces Jason Zibarras, “who is pursuing other opportunities in the infrastructure group,” Ms. Chambers wrote in a subsequent e-mail in response to questions. She declined to elaborate.
Mr. LeBlanc will be responsible for identifying and executing investments. He will work with Mark Weisdorf, portfolio manager and head of OECD infrastructure equity. He will report to Paul Ryan, CEO of OECD infrastructure equity and debt, who was hired for that new role in March.
Mr. LeBlanc was a principal at private equity firm ArcLight Capital Partners.
“Arclight wishes him the best and has no plans to replace him at this time,” said Heidi Milne, spokeswoman for Arclight Capital Partners.
