Donald T. Pascal was promoted to president of Commonfund Capital, the private equity, venture capital and natural resources investment management unit of manager-of-managers firm Commonfund.
Mr. Pascal, a managing director, will remain co-head of Commonfund Capital's global venture capital business with Brijesh Jeevarathnam, said Ralph Money, a company spokesman, in an interview.
Susan J. Carter held the positions of president and CEO; she now is focusing on the CEO role for the alternative investment unit, which has managed $13.5 billion since inception.
