James “Jamie” Douglas will join Man Investments Australia as CEO, effective July 1, confirmed Peter Holmes, chief operating officer of Man's business in Australia.
The title is new at the Sydney-based firm. Mr. Douglas will replace Gary Gerstle, managing director, who will leave Man Investments Australia effective July 1 to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Douglas was managing director at J.P. Morgan Chase in London. A J.P. Morgan spokesman could not be reached immediately for comment.
