Kalen Lim will become CEO of HSBC Global Asset Management’s business in Singapore, effective July 1.
Ms. Lim replaces Sten Ankarcrona, who will become HSBC Global’s Stockholm-based managing director, head of the Nordic region, effective July 1, confirmed Yvonne Chuang, a Hong Kong-based spokeswoman for HSBC.
Ms. Lim currently serves as head of business finance for HSBC Singapore, overseeing “full analytic support for the bank covering corporate bank, small and medium enterprises, retail bank, global markets and custody and clearing,” according to a news release.
Information on HSBC’s plans to fill Ms. Lim's current role wasn’t immediately available.
In her new position, Ms. Lim will report to Joanna Munro, HSBC Global Asset Management’s CEO, Asia-Pacific, and Paul Arrowsmith, the head of retail banking and wealth management, HSBC Singapore.
