Denver Employees putting $15 million into energy fund

Denver Employees Retirement Plan committed $15 million to Lime Rock Resources III, a private equity energy fund managed by Lime Rock Management, confirmed Steven Hutt, executive director.

This is the $1.95 billion pension fund's first commitment to Lime Rock.

The pension fund has a 4% allocation to private energy.

Investment consultant Summit Strategies Group assisted.
