The Alternative Investment Management Association is searching for a new CEO to replace Andrew Baker, who is leaving at the end of the year.
Mr. Baker has been CEO of the London-based industry association since 2009 and was deputy CEO beginning in 2007 prior to the promotion, according to an AIMA news release.
Mr. Baker was not available for comment about his plans but said in the release: “The last five years have been an extraordinary and extremely challenging period for the industry … we have significantly expanded our activities on behalf of the industry globally, particularly in the fields of regulatory, press and investor engagement, and are in robust financial and organizational health.”
Christen Thomson, an AIMA spokesman, declined to comment about the CEO search process.
