Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund, Maidenhead, England, is searching for a firm to provide actuarial services, according to an invitation to tender announcement on the £1.57 billion ($2.46 billion) pension fund's website.
The current actuary is Barnett Waddingham. It could not be learned by press time whether the firm can rebid.
The contract is for five years, starting April 1, 2014, and has an additional two-year renewal option.
The invitation to tender is available on South East Business Portal, a procurement website. Proposals are due at noon BST July 23. Interviews will take place in November, with a hiring decision expected in January.
