VIA Metropolitan Transit, San Antonio, is searching for a global custodian for its defined benefit and other post-employment benefit plans, according to an RFP posted on Public Purchase, a procurement website.
Comerica is the current custodian. It could not be learned by press time if the bank may rebid.
VIA Metropolitan Transit has $190 million in its pension plan and $5.1 million in OPEB plans. The selected bank will also serve as custodian for about $57 million in short-term and long-term agency funds, according to the RFP.
The RFP is available on the Public Purchase website.
Proposals are due at 4:45 p.m. CDT July 11. A hiring date was not specified.
