Michael Gallagher was promoted to a director and portfolio manager, and Rick Romano was promoted to a managing director, for Prudential Real Estate Investors' global real estate securities team, said John Chartier, spokesman, in an e-mail.
Mr. Gallagher was hired as an associate portfolio manager in September with “the idea of moving him into this role,” Mr. Chartier wrote. Mr. Gallagher's new duties had been performed by Marc Halle, a managing director for Prudential Real Estate Investors and senior portfolio manager for all global real estate securities funds and investments.
Mr. Romano had been a principal. His responsibilities do not change, Mr. Chartier stated.
“This was an internal promotion in recognition of his dedication and hard work,” he wrote.
