Staffan Lindfeldt was named head of global emerging markets equities at Baring Asset Management, spokeswoman Joanna Pope said.
Based in London, Mr. Lindfeldt replaced Roberto Lampl, who left the firm earlier this year. Mr. Lindfeldt is reporting to Tim Scholefield, head of equities.
Mr. Lindfeldt was chief portfolio manager for global emerging markets at Handelsbanken Asset Management, Stockholm. Nils Jutterstrom, head of institutional clients at Handelsbanken, could not be reached by press time for information about Mr. Lindfeldt's replacement.
