Denver City & County Deferred Compensation Plan is eliminating the Janus Overseas Fund from its investment option lineup, confirmed Susan Judah, secretary of the deferred compensation committee.
The fund is being dropped for performance and style concerns, according to an announcement on the change on the plan's website.
The Janus fund has about $4.1 million in assets from the Denver plan and will be mapped to the State Street Global Advisors MSCI EAFE index fund, which has about $700,000 in plan assets, Ms. Judah said.
Janus spokeswoman Jane Ingalls could not provide a comment by press time.
The $550 million 457(b) plan will have 53 investment options and two series of target-date funds after the change.
