Ferguson Township Police Pension Plan, State College, Pa., hired PNC Institutional Investments as investment manager, confirmed township manager Mark Kunkle.
The $4 million pension fund issued an RFP because the plan's previous manager, Merrill Lynch, gave notice that it would no longer be providing these services to municipalities.
Other finalists were Graystone Consulting and Wilmington Trust.
