Reading (Mass.) Retirement System on Thursday issued an RFP for actuarial services for its $92 million defined benefit plan, according to a posting on the website of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission.
The selected firm will create an actuarial report and funding schedule for the pension fund, according to the posting.
The contract of the current actuary, Segal Co., expires June 30; the firm can rebid, said Colleen Loughlin, the pension fund's retirement administrator.

Proposals are due July 9. Ms. Loughlin said a selection is expected by July 23.
