Minot, N.D., is searching for a bundled provider to implement and oversee new defined contribution plans, confirmed Cindy Hemphill, finance director.
The city is looking at implementing new 401(a) and 457(b) plans for new employees by Jan. 1. At that time, the $56 million defined benefit plan will be closed to new employees.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. CDT June 18. Ms. Hemphill said a hiring recommendation will be sent to the City Council in August or September.
