Louisiana Municipal Employees' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, hired Meketa Investment Group as investment consultant, confirmed Robert Rust, director at MERS.
The $800 million pension fund issued an RFP in January to “test the waters” after a long time without putting the services out to bid, Mr. Rust said in a telephone interview. Incumbent consultant Consulting Services Group was invited to rebid but did not do so.
Other finalists were the Bogdahn Group, Dahab Associates and Segal Rogerscasey.
