Philadelphia Gas Works Retirement Reserve rehired Eagle Asset Management to run about $13 million in active domestic small-cap growth equities, confirmed Charles Jones, executive director of the Philadelphia Sinking Fund Commission, which manages the $441 million pension fund.
The pension fund issued an RFP in January due to the pending expiration of Eagle Asset's contract on March 31. Since then, the manager has been operating under the old contract. New contract details are pending negotiations.
The other finalist was RBC Global Asset Management.
