California State Teachers' Retirement System is seeking a real estate portfolio manager, according to a posting on the $163.7 billion pension fund's website.
The portfolio manager would develop, implement and manage an unspecified subset of the pension system's $22.2 billion real estate portfolio, and coordinate due diligence with a consultant/fiduciary in selecting appropriate investments.
Duties could also include negotiation of agreements to encourage managers/partners to achieve maximum performance for each investment, review and critique of monthly property reports, and evaluating manager performance.
