Holyoke (Mass.) Retirement System issued an RFP for a private equity firm to manage $8 million to $12 million, according to a posting on the website of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission.
Only commingled investment vehicles will be considered, with preference to private equity managers that offer fund-of-funds and/or co-investment opportunities, according to the RFP.
Preference will be given to private equity firms with at least one prior fund and with experience managing private equity assets for Massachusetts public funds.
The final close for the fund offering must not be before Nov. 30.
Funding will come from the distribution of assets from a fund managed by private equity firm Constitution Capital Partners, said Cheryl Dugre, board administrator at the $190 million pension fund.
The RFP is available via e-mail from Ms. Dugre at [email protected]
Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT June 5. No date for a selection has been set.
