Wael Aburida has joined PineBridge Investments as chief investment officer, leading its Middle East, North Africa and Turkey team, a PineBridge spokeswoman confirmed.
The position is new.
Based in Bahrain, Mr. Aburida will formulate and oversee PineBridge Investments Middle East's direct investment strategies, including fund formation and deal origination.
Mr. Aburida was director of mergers and acquisitions at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates-based Waha Capital. Waha Capital executives could not be reached about information on a replacement.
