Throop Borough, Throop, Pa., hired Morgan Stanley as investment consultant for its Police Pension Plan and Non-Uniform Plan, confirmed Robin Galli, chief clerk/treasurer.
An RFP was issued in October because Merrill Lynch, the incumbent consultant of the defined benefit plans, with combined assets of $2 million, informed the borough it would no longer be providing these services.
