J.P Morgan shareholders will vote later this month to decide whether Jamie Dimon will retain his dual role of chairman and CEO. Mr. Dimon has said that if shareholders decide to split his roles he might consider leaving the company. Since Mr. Dimon took over as CEO of the firm in December 2005, the firm's stock is up 48.06% - 5.47% annually - through May 10. The S&P 500 Financials Sector index is off 81.08% - down 4.36% on an annualized basis - during the same period.
