Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension System will conduct a search for real estate investment trust managers, said Tom Lopez, chief investment officer for the $15.9 billion fund.
Incumbents Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Principal Global Investors manage a combined $290 million.
The board is launching the search to compare the incumbent managers with others. Both managers will be in the search, according to Mr. Lopez.
No RFP will be issued; consultant RV Kuhns will be conducting a database search. Interested managers should contact RV Kuhns.No timeline for the search has been set.
