Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System, Oklahoma City, named Baillie Gifford and MFS Investment Management as finalists in a search for an active international growth equity manager to run more than $200 million, said Tom Spencer, executive director.
Funding will come from a $500 million ACWI ex-U.S. growth index fund managed by BlackRock.
Interviews and an expected hiring decision will take place at the May 16 board meeting of the $7.5 billion pension fund.
An RFP was issued in January. Investment consultant Strategic Investment Solutions is assisting.
