Jason Crane was named head of sales and Patricia Advaney was named head of marketing at Transamerica Retirement Solutions, confirmed Wendy Daniels, senior vice president of marketing.
Mr. Crane and Ms. Advaney, both senior vice presidents, are taking on additional responsibilities in light of the retirement last week of Joseph Masterson as senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer of Transamerica Retirement Solutions, Ms. Daniels said in an interview.
Mr. Masterson had been with the company for nearly 30 years. Both Mr. Crane and Ms. Advaney have worked for Transamerica for 12 years.
Mr. Crane, who had been in charge of sales to Transamerica's clients with assets of less than $20 million, will supervise sales across all markets, according to a Transamerica news release. Ms. Advaney, who will be in charge of marketing for plans in all retirement markets, “has most recently focused on participant solutions,” the news release said.
