Vanguard names new government affairs executive

Jerry Golden is joining Vanguard Group as principal, government relations, according to a Vanguard news release.

Mr. Golden replaces James Delaplane, who will lead Vanguard's ERISA and Fiduciary Services practice group at corporate headquarters in Malvern, Pa. Mr. Golden will report to Ann L. Combs.

Mr. Golden was most recently an associate vice president at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.
