Nevada Deferred Compensation Program, Carson City, hired Segal Rogerscasey as investment consultant, confirmed Micah Salerno, administrative assistant.
The state of Nevada had issued an RFP for an investment consultant for the state's $589 million 457 plan and $19 million FICA alternative plan in December.
Segal Rogerscasey had been operating as consultant on a short-term, temporary basis since incumbent consultant Arnerich Massena terminated its contract with the state in August.
Callan Associates and Mercer were the other finalists.
Reba Coombs, program coordinator, was not available for comment.
