Mark Hamilton was named chief investment officer, asset allocation at OppenheimerFunds, confirmed spokeswoman Kaitlyn Downing.
It is a new position, effective this week. He reports to Chief Investment Officer Arthur Steinmetz.
Mr. Hamilton was previously investment director on the dynamic asset allocation portfolio management team at AllianceBernstein. AllianceBernstein spokesman Jonathan Freedman did not return phone calls by press time.
