Louis Jug was named managing director and head of investor services for MetLife Investment Management, confirmed spokesman Fred Pieretti.
It is a new position. Mr. Jug will be responsible for capital raising, client relations and product development for the institutional money manager. He reports to senior managing directors Robert Merck, who is also global head of MetLife Real Estate Investors, and Brad Rhoads.
Mr. Jug previously was managing director at Fortress Investment Group. Fortress spokesman Gordon E. Runte did not return a phone call by press time.
