Aylin Suntay was named head of Gazprombank Asset Management and a first vice president of its parent, Gazprombank.
In an e-mail, Ms. Suntay said she replaced Anatoly Miliukov as head of Russia's second-largest money management firm, adding that Mr. Miliukov left to pursue other opportunities.
Ms. Suntay comes to Gazprombank from the Geneva office of Pictet Asset Management, where she served as deputy chief investment officer of equities.
Pictet spokeswoman Marie-Laure Schaufelberger couldn't immediately provide information on plans for the deputy CIO position.
