New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord, committed $50 million to Dover Street VIII and $30 million to Hancock Capital Partners V, private equity funds managed by HarbourVest Partners and Hancock Capital Management, respectively, confirmed spokesman Marty Karlon.
Separately, the $6.1 billion pension fund terminated Netols Asset Management's $82 million small-cap equity portfolio for performance. Jeffrey Netols, president and portfolio manager, did not return a telephone call for comment.
The assets will be moved into domestic equity strategies managed by AllianceBernstein and Wellington Management. AllianceBernstein manages $138.2 million in the strategy; Wellington, $122.7 million.
