Taunton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a large-cap equity manager to run about $48 million, according to an RFP posted on the website of Dahab Associates, the $210 million pension fund's investment consultant.
As of March 31, Boston Trust & Investment Management Co. and State Street Global Advisors managed about $57 million total in large-cap equity. It could not be determined by press time whether the RFP is to potentially replace one or both managers, and whether they are invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT April 26. A hiring date was not specified.
Paul Slivinski, executive director of the pension fund, and Steven Roth, director of manager research at Dahab, did not return telephone calls by press time.
