Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau, hired five managers to run $100 million each in active domestic large-cap equity, confirmed spokeswoman Laura Achee.
DSM Capital Partners and CastleArk Management were hired for growth strategies. Herndon Capital Management, SKBA Capital Management and Lyrical Asset Management were hired for value strategies.
Funding comes from rebalancing. No managers were terminated.
The hires are the result of a September shortlist search conducted by Callan Associates.
The Permanent Fund has about $45.4 billion in assets.
