Michael Cohen will resign as executive managing director and head of European investing for alternative investment manager Och-Ziff Capital Management Group, effective March 31, confirmed Jonathan Gasthalter, a company spokesman.
Mr. Cohen, who is based in Och-Ziff's London office, will not be directly replaced. Instead, David Windreich, executive managing director and head of U.S. investing, will add oversight of the European investing business from the company's New York headquarters.
Mr. Cohen's plans aren't known, and he could not be reached for comment.
Och-Ziff manages $35 billion in hedge fund, credit, distressed debt and real estate strategies.
