Alex Jackson was named managing director and head of the bank loan group at Cutwater Asset Management, confirmed spokeswoman Dina Roskin.
He began the newly created position on March 11 and reports to Cliff Corso, CEO and chief investment officer.
Mr. Jackson was previously deputy chief investment officer and CLO portfolio manager at CIFC Corp. A phone call to spokesman Christopher Beattie was not returned by press time.
