Orange County Human Resource Services, Employee Benefits Division, Santa Ana, Calif., is searching for an investment consultant for its three defined contribution plans, confirmed Diana Banzet, deputy purchasing agent, in an e-mail.
The county has 457 and 401(a) plans, and a 3121 FICA alternative plan; the three DC plans have a combined $956 million in assets. Incumbent Mercer is invited to rebid. The current contract expires Nov. 18. The RFP is not being issued because of dissatisfaction with the current consultant, according to the RFP.
Great-West Retirement Services is the record keeper for the plans.
