Frank Koster was named U.S. head of fixed income at AEGON USA Investment Management, confirmed Kristin Krousie, director of distribution.
It is a new position. Mr. Koster is responsible for the oversight of all investment-grade credit and structured portfolios, cash management activities and quantitative strategies. He reports to Brad Beman, chief investment officer.
Mr. Koster was previously managing director and CIO at Dwight Asset Management, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Spokeswoman Andrea Raphael could not be reached by press time for information on Mr. Koster's replacement.
AEGON USA Investment Management has about $116 billion in assets under management.
