Corrections: Private equity lawsuit, CalPERS



  • U.S. District Court Judge Edward Harrington denied motions for summary judgment by several private equity firms and investment banks being sued by investors including pension funds for allegedly colluding to suppress competition. A story in the March 13 P&I Daily was incorrect.

  • A staff proposal regarding the California Public Employees’ Retirement System’s absolute-return strategy would reduce the hedge funds-of-funds portion of the portfolio to 5% from its current allocation of 19%. The current percentage was incorrect in a story in the Feb. 20 P&I Daily.
