Garry Hawker was appointed director of consulting for the growth markets of Asia, the Middle East and Africa at Mercer, in line with a recent reorganization, the company announced Tuesday.
Mr. Hawker, a principal with Mercer, previously led the firm's consulting operations in Asia.
Mercer also announced that Deborah Bannon, the firm's investments solutions leader for Hong Kong, had been named investments market business leader for greater China, while Michelle Ng, Mercer's head of advisory for Hong Kong, was named head of advisory for greater China.
As previously announced, Tim Jenkins, a senior partner with Mercer, was named business leader of both retirement and investments, growth markets.
In an e-mail, Michelle Shao, a Hong Kong-based spokeswoman for Mercer, said all of the titles announced Tuesday were new ones, in line with the reorganization announced Jan. 1 grouping together growth markets from around the globe.
