San Antonio Fire & Police Pension Fund committed $10 million each to Gen2 Partners and White Oak Global Advisors to run direct lending strategies, according to recently released minutes of the Jan. 23 board meeting.
Highbridge Capital Management was also a finalist for the shortlist search.
Matthew O'Reilly, chief investment officer of the $2.2 billion pension fund, did not return a telephone call seeking more information by press time.
