Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Washington, is searching for a record keeper for its $500 million OCC and OTS 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans.
The OCC is a bureau within the Treasury Department.
Currently, the OCC has two record-keeping contracts, covering the plans of its employees and those from the Office of Thrift Supervision, which was merged with the OCC in 2011. The two retirement plans will remain separate, but the RFP seeks a single contractor, according to the RFP.
Charles Schwab & Co. Services holds both contracts under a five-year contract that expires Dec. 31. Schwab is eligible to rebid.
The scope of work includes administration and record-keeping services, investment management and trustee services.
Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EDT on April 5. The RFP is available at FedBizOpps, a federal procurement website.
A decision is expected by July 31, said procurement specialist Darryle Brown, in an interview.
