David Schofield was named director of portfolio management for institutions and head of capital markets at Hall Capital Partners, effective March 4, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The director of portfolio management position is new; Mr. Schofield replaces Sarah Stein as head of capital markets. Ms. Stein is still at Hall Capital in her current position of president.
Mr. Schofield will be a portfolio manager for pension, foundation and endowment clients in addition to heading the capital markets group, which is responsible for evaluating market trends and issuing updates for the firm's clients and portfolio managers. There is no timetable for a permanent replacement, Mr. Nickel added.
Hall Capital Partners, an outsourced CIO firm, has about $24 billion in assets under management.
