John R.S. Jacobsson was named executive vice president at Related Companies, confirmed a company spokeswoman.
It is a new position; he started Monday. Mr. Jacobsson is a member of the senior management team at the firm and pursues “new investment and business opportunities and (will) sustain and build upon Related Companies’ relationships with the global institutional investor community,” according to a news release.
He was a managing partner at AREA Property Partners. A phone call to AREA Property Partners was not returned by press time.
