Fred Alger Management on Tuesday announced it hired an international equity management team from Allianz Global Investors, led by Pedro Marcal, who was named senior vice president and portfolio manager.
Mr. Marcal was international portfolio manager, EAFE core growth/Pacific rim at AGI, according to a news release from Fred Alger. He will report to Dan Chung, CEO and chief investment officer of Fred Alger.
Also joining Fred Alger are Ajoy Reddi and Warren Zhang as vice presidents and analysts. They both were analysts at AGI; Mr. Reddi focused on European equities, while Mr. Zhang focused on Asian equities.
