Chicago Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Retirement Fund named six finalists in its search for an emerging manager to run $15 million to $25 million in active large-cap value equity, said Susan Boutin, executive director of the $1 billion pension fund.
The finalists are O'Shaughnessy Asset Management, SKBA Capital Management, Chicago Equity Partners, Paradigm Asset Management, First Fiduciary Investment Counsel and Great Lakes Advisors. A hiring decision is expected at the March 27 board meeting, Ms. Boutin said in a telephone interview.
An RFP was issued in December. Investment consultant Gray & Co. is assisting.
