Hans Stoter was named the new chief investment officer at ING Investment Management, according to a spokeswoman for the firm.
Mr. Stoter will replace Mark Weber, who was acting CIO and will resume his role as executive vice president of structured assets, loans and alternatives. Mr. Weber had retained those responsibilities while serving as acting CIO since December 2011.
Based in The Hague, Netherlands, Mr. Stoter will report to Gilbert Van Hassel, CEO.
Mr. Stoter was previously ING IM's global head of credit investments and lead portfolio manager of global high yield. Tim Dowling will assume Mr. Stoter's former responsibilities.
